The Junior Achievement Elementary School Program includes six grade-specific themes for kindergarten through fifth-grade students. Junior Achievement programs teach elementary school students the basic concepts of business and economics and show children how education is relevant to their future and to the workplace. The sequential activities build on studies from each preceding grade and prepare students for secondary school and lifelong learning.
The six program themes also teach students that people assume roles as individuals, consumers, and workers in an expanding cultural environment that extends from the self and family to global relations. Click on each to see an overview and to the lesson plans.
We provide Junior Achievement programs in a wide variety of elementary schools based on teacher requests. For a list of participating elementary schools, contact us. If you are interested in getting JA into your child's class, let us know and we'll be glad to send information to the teacher!
If you want to volunteer, please complete a volunteer registration form. New volunteers will need to attend an orientation. If you are a teacher, please fill out our teacher registration form.
